The basecamp of The Remarkables Ski Resort is located about 45 minutes drive away from the center of Queenstown or a 15-20 minute drive to the entry gate parking lot before driving up the mountain.
There is parking available at both the top and the base of the mountain.
If you plan on driving to the upper parking areas you will be checked for tire chains as the road does build up enough snow to need them on certain winter days. There are several car parks at the top of the mountain with the best ones being within walking distance of the lifts. Others lots you will need to jump on the free parking lot shuttle bus.
On days where there is recent snow or is during holidays / weekends you will need to arrive within the first hour or so of the mountain open time to secure a car park as they do fill up.

Yes, the base camp of The Remarkables has heaps of paid storage lockers to keep your stuff safe and secure while you are up on the slopes. You do not need to book in advance. Note these are more meant for storing say a backpack or bag rather than you ski's and snowboards. Most ski resorts operate on a honor system where you can place your board and skis on the racks. If you want to be extra safe with your flashy new board we recommend buying a small ski / snowboard lock.
